Ability
The eligibility for each post in Income Tax Recruitment is different. For the post of Tax Assistant, the candidate must have passed 10th or 12th. Also, there should be basic knowledge of data entry on computer. Skill test can also be taken for this post. It is mandatory to have 12th pass for the post of Stenographer. The candidate should have good knowledge of Hindi or English shorthand and typing. For multi-tasking staff, only 10th pass is enough. For other posts, graduation or experience in related field can also be sought.

The most special thing about this recruitment is that there is no written examination for most of the posts. Candidates are selected mainly on the basis of skill test, trade test, document verification. The final selection completely depends on the qualification and performance of the candidate.
How much salary will you get?
In this recruitment, Administrative Officer gets a salary of around Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month, whereas, the salary of Tax Inspector starts from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. And Tax Assistant and Stenographer are given a monthly salary ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100. The salary of Multi Task Staff will be from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900. Apart from this, DA, HRA and other allowances are available separately on all posts as per the rules of the Central Government, which further increases the total salary.
