Saharsa MLA and Indian Inclusive Party (IIP) President IP Gupta has openly said that he has received a call from NDA and he is ready to join NDA, but with an important condition. This statement of Gupta seems to further challenge the already weak position of the Grand Alliance.
IP Gupta said that he is ready to join NDA, but his clear condition is that Tanti-Tatva community should be included in SC category. He says that only the Central Government can take this decision and if his demand is accepted then he will join the NDA without any delay. He told that the population of Tanti-Tatva community in Bihar is between 80 lakh to 1 crore, but they have not got proper representation.
IP Gupta may join NDA
The IIP chief claimed that during the assembly elections, his party transferred its entire vote to the Grand Alliance constituents. According to him, NDA knows the power of this vote bank and that is why he is getting the offer to join NDA. IP Gupta also said that Tanti community is already economically and socially backward, hence it is necessary to include it in SC category.
Grand alliance should review its defeat – IP Gupta
Commenting on the crushing defeat of the Grand Alliance, IP Gupta said that the alliance parties should sit down and review where the mistakes happened. He clearly said that there is a need to understand and introspect on the message given by the public.
Will apologize before joining NDA
IP Gupta also announced that if NDA accepts his condition, he will publicly apologize to the voters and parties of the Grand Alliance before joining the NDA. He says that even after joining NDA, he will continue to work for the Tanti-Tatva community and the voters of his areas.
This statement can pave the way for a major political change in the politics of Bihar in the coming days. This is a challenge for the Grand Alliance, while it is a big opportunity for the NDA.
