At the same time, a kilometer away in Jamia Masjid Qamar-ul-Islam, the anti-Shia terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba’s Khadi-e-Nubuvwat program against the Shia community was going on, in which the chief guest was Sipah-e-Sahaba chief Mufti Aurangzeb Farooqui.
In his 11-minute speech, Sipah-e-Sahaba chief Mufti Aurangzeb Farooqui targeted the Shia community several times and instigated people against the Shia community. The people listening to Sipah-e-Sahaba chief Mufti Aurangzeb Farooqui kept raising slogans of ‘Sahaba Sahaba’ every time they heard his anti-Shia speech. Although it has not been decided yet which terrorist organization carried out the suicide attack on the mosque of Shia community in Islamabad, but some time ago information was given by the Government of Pakistan that the suicide attacker has been identified and he was a citizen of Pakistan, but had also visited Afghanistan several times.
When did Sipah-e-Sahaba wreak havoc on the Shia community?
In Pakistan, the terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba and its pseudonym Lashkar-e-Jhangvi have carried out terrorist attacks on the Shia community several times, including suicide attacks. From 1990 to 1999, Sipah-e-Sahaba had carried out terrorist attacks on Shia doctors, lawyers and professors, killing them, after which in March 2004, Sipah-e-Sahaba carried out a suicide attack in Quetta during Ashura on the 10th day of Muharram, in which 40 people of Shia community were killed. After this, in September 2010, Sipah-e-Sahaba carried out a suicide attack on a Shia procession in Quetta, in which 70 people lost their lives. In January 2013, the same terrorist organization had carried out a bomb blast in the Hazara Shia mosque, in which 96 people had lost their lives and then in 2013, Sipah-e-Sahaba had carried out a suicide attack in the Hazara area of Quetta, in which 114 people of the Shia community had lost their lives.
PAK banned Sipah-e-Sahaba in 2002
The Pakistani government had banned the terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba in the year 2002, but even after that its work did not stop. To show it to the world, it changed its name to Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat and sometimes used the name Sipah-e-Sahaba and sometimes Lashkar-e-Jhangvi for carrying out terrorism against the Shia population. Under this, in February 2014 in Peshawar, in Rawalpindi in 2015 and in 2017 in Parachinar, Sipah-e-Sahab under the name Lashkar-e-Jhangvi targeted Shia population with bomb blasts. In such a situation, the needle of suspicion is also moving on the terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba behind the fidayeen blast on hundreds of people who had gathered at the Shia Mosque Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra for Friday prayers in Tarlai Kalan, Islamabad, because its procession was being organized exactly one kilometer away.
TTP distanced itself from the attack
No Pakistani terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the suicide suicide attack on a Shia mosque in Islamabad. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has issued a statement distancing itself from this attack. In such a situation, the needle of suspicion is currently turning towards the terrorist organizations Sipah-e-Sahaba and Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP), which historically carry out similar suicide attacks on the Shia population. Also, the way the anti-Shia program of the terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba was allowed to take place just one kilometer away from the Shia mosque, it also indicates that the government of Pakistan is not concerned with the security of the Shia population in its country.
