Former Deputy CM of Rajasthan and Congress General Secretary Sachin Pilot participated in ABP News’ special program India 2047 Youth Conclave. He was asked why it is not possible in Congress to make you the CM of Rajasthan? On this question, he said that the worker who is given the responsibility in our party fulfills it whole-heartedly. The Congress leader said that he does not know what will happen in the future.
Party gave me many opportunities- Sachin Pilot
Sachin Pilot said, “At present I have been made the General Secretary. We have responsibilities of different states on which we are working. The party gave me a ticket at a very young age. I became an MP, a Minister, been the State President, I have been the Deputy Chief Minister. Today I am the General Secretary. The party has given me a lot of opportunities in the last 20-25 years. Now my responsibility is to give strength to the coming generation. I have tried my best to give as many opportunities as possible to the young people.”
What to say about the leaders leaving Congress?
On leaders like Jyotiraditya Scindia leaving the Congress, Sachin Pilot said, “We all used to work together. Today he has joined another party. The public will decide whether his decision was right or wrong. I have said earlier also that no one can take away what is written in destiny and no one can give what is not written. Posts come and go but if you leave a mark in the hearts of people through your work, then that is the biggest capital.”
Delhi or Rajasthan, which politics do you prefer?
Sachin Pilot was asked whether he is more interested in Delhi politics or Rajasthan politics, to which he said, “I am an MLA from Rajasthan. My first priority is those people who have elected me. Rest, my party has given me the responsibility. Right now I have been asked to look after the elections in Kerala, we will form the government there. The entire team will do it. Wherever work is given from time to time, we do it there.”
