Akshay Khanna himself handled the scene
In a conversation with Mid Day, choreographer Vijay Ganguly told about this song. He said- ‘This song is a celebration of Akshay’s character being crowned Sher-e-Baloch. Actually he had to enter. Had to pass through the dancers and sit on the throne. Seeing the mood of the scene and the performance of the dancers, a brilliant actor like Akshay said that when he comes inside, he will dance a little. None of us knew what he was going to do. Akshay came into the scene. From there he took over the scene and performed immediately.
Akshay’s oxygen level had fallen
Talking about the challenges of shooting in Ladakh, the choreographer said that Akshaye Khanna suffered from high-altitude sickness during the shooting. He said- ‘Akshay used to keep a small oxygen cylinder with him. When we were shooting this song, his oxygen level had fallen. Therefore, he used to wear oxygen mask after every shot. He did the sequence without any hesitation and then went home.
Apart from Ranveer Singh and Akshay Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi have also done brilliant acting in ‘Dhurandhar’. The film is in the news after earning great money at the box office. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the sequel ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
