There are a large number of apps available on Google Play Store. Some of these are also fake apps, which are removed from time to time. By using some easy tips you can know the authenticity of the app.
- Before downloading an app, check its developer information. If an app is calling itself government, then check the name of its developer and under which ministry it comes. Also check from Google or other sources whether that ministry has actually launched any such app or not.
- If any unknown or suspicious person sends a link and asks you to download a government app, then be alert. Never download any app from unknown links.
- No government app asks for money in exchange for service. If subscription is being asked in any government app, then be careful.
