When he was offered work in the first film by famous director MS Sathyu, Sheikh agreed and agreed to work without money.

Actress Shabana Azmi was Sheikh’s friend since college days. However, she was her junior. The two worked together in many drama.
Sheikh was born on 25 March in Amroli, Gujarat in the house of lawyer father Mustafa Sheikh and Farida Sheikh.
