Political allegations and counter-allegations continue in the Codeine Cough Syrup case in Uttar Pradesh. Today on Monday (22 December) in the Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath clearly said that no one will be spared. Cornering the opposition, he said, “When the government’s action reaches its final level, many of you will go to read Fatiha and will not leave you even able to read Fatiha, till then we will take such action.”
Chief Minister Yogi said, “I assure the House that the Uttar Pradesh government will take as strict action as possible against whoever is the culprit in this case.” While giving complete information about the action taken so far in the cough syrup case in the House today, CM Yogi said that till now 77 arrests have been made in this case and the action will continue in future also.
There is no death toll in the state
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath informed the House that there is no confirmation of death due to codeine cough syrup in UP. The syrup from which death is reported is from outside the state. Illegal diversion was taking place in the state, so far 77 accused have been arrested in separate raids. He told that the companies which have come forward in this activity. Among them are Shaili Traders of Varanasi, Abort Health Care of Saharanpur and Laboratory of Ghaziabad and Delhi.
SP targeted
CM Yogi targeted SP over its nexus with the accused. He said that the storage that Shubham Jaiswal uses in Varanasi belongs to Manoj Yadav. The Chief Minister said that everyone knows who has connections with the mafia? Shubham Jaiswal of Shelly Traders is the business partner of Amit Yadav, State Secretary of Samajwadi Party Yuvjan Sabha and Samajwadi Party candidate from Cantt Varanasi. He is the business partner of SP candidate Amit Yadav. CM Yogi did not stop here and said that Amit Yadav’s photo is with Akhilesh Yadav. He is your office bearer, and you cannot deny it.
