Fawad khan abir gulaal row: Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is preparing to make a comeback in Bollywood with ‘Abir Gulal’. The teaser of the upcoming film was also released on Tuesday. After which the fans of Fawad have become very excited about the comeback in his Bollywood. But a few hours after the teaser release, the film became in trouble. Actually Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has opposed the release of the film in Maharashtra.
Fawad Khan ki ‘Abir Gulal ‘ MNS protested
According to Dainik Bhaskar’s report, MNS spokesperson Ameya Khopkar told, “We came to know about the release of this film today when the producers announced it. But we are clearing that we are not allowing this film to be released in Maharashtra because there is a Pakistani actor, we will not allow such films to be released in the state under any circumstances. We are gathering more information about the film and will release a full statement soon,”
What did Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam say?
Reacting to the controversy, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said, “There is widespread hatred towards Pakistan in India. When any Pakistan film is released, Indian audience does not like to watch it. If some people see it eagerly, Pakistani artists have never been able to achieve widespread success in India.” Sanjay further said, “If the central government has any policy on it, it should be implemented. Pakistani films should be released in India or their artists should be allowed to work here, the government should decide it.”
