H. Vinod’s film ‘Jana Nayakan’ was scheduled to be released in theaters on January 9, however, this film is facing a lot of difficulty in getting certification from CBFC. This film is Thalapathy Vijay’s last film after joining politics. Even after several hearings in the Madras High Court, no clarity has been received regarding the ‘Jana Nayakan’ certificate. Now, after several delays, Vijay has broken his silence on this and said that he feels bad for the producers of ‘Jana Nayakan’.

Speaking to NDTV, Vijay said that he feels really bad for his producer as his decision to enter politics has had a bad impact on ‘Jana Nayakan’. He said that he was aware of the difficulties that would come after entering politics and was mentally prepared for it, but the problems being faced by his producer hurt him. This was Vijay’s first direct interaction with a national media platform, which he described as a “mock interview”, and said that even though some people may feel that he talked less, he believes that he keeps talking to the public through his speeches and will speak more openly to the media at the right time.
Jana Nayakan postponed
Let us tell you that Vijay’s film Jana Nayakan was scheduled to be released in theaters on January 9, but due to certification issues, it was postponed later. The makers of the film announced after the delay in the film’s release, “It is with a heavy heart that we share this update with our valued stakeholders and audiences. The release of the eagerly awaited film Jana Nayakan on January 9 has been postponed due to reasons beyond our control.”
The statement further said, “We understand people’s expectations, excitement and emotions regarding this film, and this decision was not easy for any of us. The new release date will be announced soon. Till then, we humbly request you to be patient and keep your love intact. Your unwavering support is our biggest strength and means everything to the entire Jana Nayakan team.”
