Sumit Singh is an independent MLA from Chakai seat and he became a minister by supporting Nitish government. JDU’s Sanjay Prasad has contested the election from Chakai seat. Sumit Singh’s supporters reached the NDA workers’ conference and shouting slogans for him, after which Sanjay Prasad’s supporters got angry.
The reason for the uproar is not yet clear, but some people are saying that this ruckus happened due to the speech of the leaders, while some are saying that there was a dispute about the chair. There has been no statement from the leaders about this, but the people present on the spot are telling that the uproar started when Sanjay Prasad, who was on the stage, said that Sumit Singh is an independent MLA, in what status he is on the stage.
Policemen had to struggle a lot
After this, Minister Sumit Singh got up from his seat and a debate started between the two leaders. Then on seeing this, supporters of both the leaders reached the stage and started waving the flags. During this time, the police had to work hard to handle the situation. Supporters were kicking each other. The police kept trying to remove the supporters from the stage, but the situation did not control for a long time. The bodyguards and policemen of the leaders had to struggle a lot.
