The final voter list has been released for MLC elections on 11 seats in Uttar Pradesh. According to the release issued by the Election Commission, elections are to be held in 5 graduate and 6 teacher block areas in Uttar Pradesh. According to the information, the five constituencies of the graduate section are Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut and Prayagraj-Jhansi. Apart from this, voter list of six constituencies of teachers section, Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut, Bareilly-Moradabad and Gorakhpur-Faizabad has been released.
According to Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa, the Election Commission of India had issued a program to prepare fresh electoral rolls of the respective constituencies on the basis of the qualifying date of November 01, 2025, due to the expiry of the tenure of the members elected from the said constituencies on September 12, 2025 on 06.12.2026.
Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa also said that the process of preparing the electoral roll had started with the public notice issued by the Electoral Registration Officers on September 30, 2025. Electoral Registration Officers of Lucknow, Meerut, Agra, Varanasi and Prayagraj-Jhansi graduate constituencies are Divisional Commissioner, Lucknow, Meerut, Agra, Varanasi and Jhansi respectively and Electoral Registration Officers of Lucknow, Meerut, Agra, Varanasi, Bareilly-Moradabad and Gorakhpur-Ayodhya teacher constituencies are Divisional Commissioner, Lucknow, Meerut, Agra, respectively. Varanasi, Bareilly and Gorakhpur.
How many voters in which constituency?
According to the release issued by the Election Commission, the number of voters in the graduate constituencies are 2 lakh 11 thousand 756 in Lucknow, 2 lakh 69 thousand 372 in Varanasi, 2 lakh 60 thousand 818 in Allahabad-Jhansi, 1 lakh 80 thousand 293 in Agra and 59 thousand 634 in Meerut.
Where and how many voters in the constituencies of teacher section
Apart from this, the number of voters in Bareilly-Moradabad constituencies under teachers section is 46 thousand 553, Lucknow 36 thousand 217, Gorakhpur-Ayodhya 52 thousand 257, Varanasi 32 thousand 549, Agra 51 thousand 532 and Meerut is 33 thousand 163.
