A bus full of passengers caught fire in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on Tuesday (October 14). It is feared that about 20 people will die in this accident. More than 50 passengers were sitting in this bus going from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur.
According to the information, many passengers on the bus were seriously burnt, out of which 20 passengers are feared dead. Among them are three children and four women. There were 57 passengers in this private bus. The incident occurred at 3:40 pm on Tuesday. However, the cause of the fire is not yet clear.
‘The trapped people could not be saved’
According to Assistant Fire Officer Krishna Pal Singh Rathore, when the fire brigade arrived, the bus was a shell of fire. Most of the people had already been rescued and taken out by the local people. None of the people who were trapped inside could be saved alive. When the fire brigade arrived, 20 people were expected to be inside.
CM expressed grief over the accident
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed grief over the Jaisalmer bus tragedy. CM Bhajanlal spoke to Collector SP on phone and instructed to provide all possible help to the victims.

The condition of many passengers who got burnt in the accident is said to be very critical and have been referred to Jodhpur. According to the fire officer, many people have been kept on oxygen support. Meanwhile, CM Bhajanlal Sharma is continuously giving instructions to the officials. CM can go to Jaisalmer tonight or tomorrow morning.
A short distance after leaving Jaisalmer, a sudden fire broke out in its rear part. Within a few moments the entire bus started burning. According to the information, the passengers sitting in the front somehow jumped, but the passengers sitting in the rear got burnt.
There was chaos when the bus caught fire. Burnt people are being sent to the district hospital. There is a possibility of huge loss due to fire. In view of the seriousness of the accident, helpline numbers have been issued by Jaisalmer District Collector Pratap Singh.
