India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during the G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting (G7-FMM) held in Ontario, Canada on Wednesday (November 12, 2025). During the meeting, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed deep condolences to the people killed in the car blast outside the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday (November 10, 2025). Along with this, he prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar appreciated the condolence message of the US Secretary of State for those killed in the car blast in Delhi. He has also shared a post in this regard.

S. Jaishankar said in a post shared on social media platform I appreciate his condolence message towards those who lost their lives in the Delhi blast.
He further said, “During this we discussed our bilateral relations in detail. It particularly focused on trade and supply chains. Along with this, views were also exchanged on the Ukraine conflict, the situation in the Middle East, West Asia and the Indo Pacific region.
Indian government admits terrorist attack, 12 people lost their lives in the blast
On Monday (November 10, 2025) in Delhi, a big explosion occurred in a car parked at the traffic signal near Gate No. 1 of the Metro station outside the Red Fort. 12 people lost their lives in this explosion, and 20 people were seriously injured, who are undergoing treatment. At the same time, the Government of India has considered the car blast outside the Red Fort on Wednesday (November 12, 2025) as a terrorist attack. The government has said that those who hatched this terrorist conspiracy will not be spared at any cost.
