The Chief Justice, citing Mahatma Gandhi, said that before taking any decision, it should be thought that what will be the effect on the poorest and last person of the society. Giving the example of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, he said that the Constitution has made rules and procedures in such a way that there is no misuse of power and every human should get justice. CJI B. R. Gawai said that the Supreme Court of India has always been strengthening the “rule of law” and he also mentioned many historical decisions for this.
