It was the 2022-23 season of Vijay Hazare Trophy, when N Jagadeesan created history by scoring centuries in 5 consecutive matches. During this period, he also scored a historic inning of 277 runs, which is also the highest individual score made by a player in List-A cricket.

Kumar Sangakkara, Karun Nair, Devdutt Padikkal and Alviro Pietersen have achieved the feat of scoring 4 consecutive centuries in List-A cricket history. Among these, Sangakkara is the only cricketer who has scored a century in four consecutive matches in international cricket.

Vidarbha team is in Group B in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, which is at fourth position in the points table after one win in 2 matches so far. In the match against Hyderabad, Vidarbha had scored 365 runs, in response to which the entire Hyderabad team was reduced to 276 runs.
