Veena Sikri on Muhammad Yunus Resign: Former India High Commissioner Veena Sikri in Bangladesh has made a big statement on the resignation of Mohammad Yunus. He has termed the discussion of Mohammad Yunus’s resignation as a drama. He said that the matter of resignation of Mohammood Yunus is completely only a drama. Yunus had no intention of resigning, even he himself never said that he would resign.

Former India High Commissioner Veena Sikri in Bangladesh told the news agency ANI, “The resignation of Mohammad Yunus was really a deception to divert the attention of the people from the Bangladeshi Army Chief and all other military officers.”

He said, “On May 21, Bangladesh’s military chief General Waqar-e-Zaman had called all military officers and held a discussion with them. Five important points were announced after discussion with military officials. One of these five important points was completely clear that the army wanted to ensure that by the end of this year to ensure that the general elections were held in Bangladesh by the end of this year.”

Mohammad Yunus has no right- Veena Sikri

Former High Commissioner Veena Sikri said, “After the Army’s announcement, it now depends on Mohammad Yunus that what they react to this? Because it is very important to remember that on August 5 last year, when Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina migrated from the country after the student movement, the Bangladeshi military chief agreed that the Bangladeshi military chief agreed that Mohammad Unus can be sworn in as an interim government.”

He said, “However, this is just an interim government, it is not even a caretaker government. In such a situation, he does not have the right to make any kind of improvement and the right to make any changes in the constitution. But Mohammad Yunus -led regime still made many changes, made cases, filed cases against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and even his political party did not have the right to Bangladesh Awami League, which did not have the right.”

Mohammed Yunus supports Islamic fundamentalists

Veena Sikri said, “Mohammad Yunus has the support of Islamic fundamentalists. It includes all Islamic radical groups including Jamaat-e-Islami. I would say that they are representatives of Islamic fundamentalists.”
