P. chidambaram health: Congress leader P. Chidambaram’s sudden health deteriorated on Tuesday (April 08, 2025), who came to attend the CWC meeting of the Congress going on in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He fainted due to heat in Sabarmati Ashram and after that he was taken to the hospital.
News agency ANI has also shared a video related to this incident, in which Congress workers are seen carrying them in the dock. Other Congress leaders who came with P Chidambaram immediately caught their leader and were taken to the hospital in an ambulance. At the same time, after 64 years, the Indian National Congress is organizing its session, in which the top leaders of the party are joining.

This incident happened when the Congress leaders went to Sabarmati Ashram, a place associated with Mahatma Gandhi before their national session. The group included Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, UPA President Sonia Gandhi and senior leader Rahul Gandhi. He gathered to pay tribute to the ashram and participate in the Bhajan session.

Chidambaram was feeling uncomfortable before fainting
Chidambaram, who was involved in this delegation, allegedly felt unwell due to the scorching heat. The temperature in Ahmedabad has increased a lot and it seems that the 78 -year -old Congress leader has affected the heat. Eyewitnesses said that he looked quite uncomfortable before fainting on the spot. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
