The first reaction of the former DGP of Punjab on being accused of murder in the death of his son has come to light. Former DGP Mohammad Mustafa said that there is no need for me to say anything in this. Some petty people have made allegations against me, which I will counter.
He said that I welcome FI. Filing of FIR does not mean proving anyone’s crime. My son has died, that is the biggest sorrow for me, there is nothing bigger than that for me.
‘I will fight lies’
He further said that the allegations have been made by petty people, I will counter them. I will counter the lies. When someone appears before the police with a serious allegation and a complaint, it is the legal duty of the police to register an FIR.
‘The allegation hurts the soul’
Former DGP said that the police performed their duty and I welcome them. Now the real work will begin, investigation will take place, people will come to know the truth and lies in it. Those who got this done will have to think about this. This is a serious allegation which has hurt our soul. These allegations are serious offenses and the police will see which way the noose of the law goes.
