In Jaipur, Rajasthan, a major accident occurred late on Friday, 5 September, when a four -storey house suddenly fell into a lot of collapse. There were 7 people inside the house at the time of the accident. The father and a 6 -year -old innocent daughter died after being buried in the debris.
Among those who died in the accident were 33 -year -old Prabhat and his 6 -year -old daughter Pihu. The bodies of both were taken out of the rubble after much effort. Prabhat’s wife was also present in the house at the time of the accident, whose condition remains critical at the moment. He has been admitted to SMS hospital.
There were 7 people at home, 5 rescued
7 people were present in the house at the time of the accident. Soon after the debris fell, rescue teams took out 4 people safely. The remaining three people were trapped in the rubble. After a while Prabhat and his daughter met in a dead state, while his wife was taken out in critical condition.
Rescue operation run till morning
Civil defense and SDRF teams reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. The rescue operation continued throughout the night and the relief work continued till around 7 am. The precautionary administration evacuated the surrounding houses and laid siege to the area.
Accident occurred due to old and dilapidated house
Local people say that this house was quite old and made of lime. The walls had become more weak due to continuous rains for the last two days. For this reason, suddenly the whole house fell. It is being told that about 19 people lived in this house on rent and all are natives of West Bengal.
ADCP North, Durg Singh Rajpurohit said that the accident occurred in an old building due to heavy rains. Police received information at 1.15-1.30 pm, police and civil defense immediately reached the spot. 19 people lived on rent in the building, in which 7 were injured, and two died.
Administration will investigate dilapidated buildings
After the accident, the administration has said that dilapidated buildings will be investigated in the entire area so that such accidents do not happen in future. At the same time, the affected families have been assured to help and make complete arrangements for the treatment of the injured.
