In an interview given to The Hollywood Reporter, Kareena Kapoor supported Deepika’s demand and said, ‘As a woman, if you want to give time to your children, then you should have the freedom to say that this is what I want. I can work only for so many hours.’

The actress said, ‘I had to stay in London for 35 days for that film. So I made such a plan that I could go for shooting and also come back, because Diwali was in between. We planned everything accordingly. I feel that everything should be planned very well and should be absolutely clear from the beginning.

During this, he praised Saif Ali Khan by calling him a responsible and supportive father. Kareena said, ‘The makers of the film were so understanding that they understood my situation. I consider myself lucky that when I am doing the film, Saif is with the children.

It is very important to have mutual support and understanding in a marriage, because both of us cannot work together and leave the children alone. This is a matter of mutual understanding.

Before Kareena Kapoor, Ananya Pandey had also supported Deepika Padukone. She also shared that experience when she did not become a mother.

Ananya Pandey said, ‘I worked with her when she had not become a mother. There was nothing like this at that time. She was working, coming to workshops, never complaining nor demanding anything.
