
Milk is a highly perishable product and requires constant cool temperatures. When kept in the door, it repeatedly comes in contact with hot air, due to which it can spoil quickly and its shelf life gets reduced.

People often keep eggs in the tray made in the door, but this place is not safe for them. The temperature here changes continuously, due to which bacteria in the eggs can increase and the risk of foodborne diseases increases.

Butter looks perfect for doors, but fluctuations in temperature soften it quickly. This can spoil both its freshness and texture, so it is better to keep it inside the refrigerator.

Soft cheeses like mozzarella or cream cheese require constant coolness, which is not always available in the freezer. The things kept here can spoil quickly or fungus can develop in them, hence they should be kept on the inner shelf.

Fresh juice is very sensitive to temperature and even the slightest fluctuation can make it sour or fermented. The hot air from the door spoils it quickly, so always store it inside.

Raw meat is most susceptible to bacteria and needs the coldest part of the refrigerator. Meat gets heated quickly when kept in the door, due to which the risk of food poisoning increases manifold.

Curd also lasts longer in a cool and stable place. Due to temperature changes in the door, its texture gets spoiled and it can turn sour quickly, so it is better to keep it on the inside shelf only.

Bananas should never be kept in the door of the refrigerator, because due to change in temperature the skin of the banana turns black. The fruit inside can also become soft and spoil quickly and its taste gets spoiled.
