Airlines said that bad weather and fog caused disruption in flight operations.

Meanwhile, Indigo airline, which is struggling with the situation of massive flight cancellations earlier this month, also issued a travel advisory on Monday (December 29, 2025). The airline said that there is a possibility of fog formation late at night, which may persist till the next morning, which will reduce visibility at many airports.
Indigo said, ‘Looking at the forecast, there may be some impact on flight operations and there may be some delay due to changes in operations as per the circumstances. We remain vigilant and are constantly monitoring the weather, so that your journey can go as smoothly as possible.
The airline also said that traffic on the roads may also be affected in the early morning due to low visibility. Therefore, passengers are advised to leave extra time to reach the airport.

Indigo had said in a post made a few hours ago that evening fog has started appearing again around Dehradun, due to which the speed of flights is slowing down. The airline said, ‘Our teams are assisting passengers at the airport and are continuously coordinating with the relevant authorities to normalize flights as soon as the situation becomes favorable.
