In politics, the statements of leaders change in such a way that it becomes difficult to understand what is in Netaji’s mind. Similar is the situation with America’s President Donald Trump. After the war with Iran started, a lot of contradictions were seen in his statements. Sometimes Trump gave controversial statements and sometimes he backtracked with his own statements. Something similar has happened again, when his two posts and U-turn within a few hours shocked the world.
Two different posts in one hour
The US President made two posts on social media regarding Iran within just one hour. Both the posts are such that anyone reading them will get confused as to what Trump wants to say. Questions are being raised due to the contradiction between the two statements. In the first statement he indicated complete victory over Iran, while in the second statement he mentioned the Strait of Hormuz and said that the war is not over yet.
What did Trump say in the first post?
In his first post, claiming victory against Tehran, he wrote, ‘America has wiped Iran off the map. Their leadership has ended, their navy and air force have been destroyed, they no longer have any defense system left.
Trump indicated with his statement that Iran’s army and leadership had been completely neutralized, but within just an hour he posted a new post regarding Iran and issued a stern warning indicating that the conflict is not over yet.
Said this in another post
In another post, Donald Trump said, ‘If Iran does not completely open the Strait of Hormuz without any threat within 48 hours, then the United States will attack and destroy their various energy plants.’
Have given controversial statements before also
Trump has already given controversial statements regarding the Iran war. On March 2, he had said that this war would last for 4 weeks or less. The same night again his statement came that he was ready to fight indefinitely. On March 3, he said that the war against Iran could continue forever. Trump also said that Iran’s mission was accomplished. At the same time, Defense Minister Hegseth told journalists that the war is intensifying.
