Players Ignored From BCCI Central Contract List: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has released the central contract list of players for the next season. Test and ODI team captain Shubman Gill has been promoted, while Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been demoted. Whereas Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah remain in the highest grade. Compared to the last season, BCCI has excluded many famous players from the list of central contracts, one of which is the name of veteran bowler Mohammed Shami.
Names of Mohammed Shami and Ishan Kishan missing
The biggest name that has disappeared from the BCCI’s central contract list is that of Mohammed Shami. Shami has been consistently performing well in domestic cricket, but was continuously getting dropped from Team India. Now his name has also been removed from the central contract list. On the other hand, Ishan Kishan, who recently returned to the T20 team, is also out of the list. Kishan was also not included in the list of last season, because BCCI had left him out of the list due to not playing domestic cricket.
Sarfaraz Khan has also not got the central contract this time. Rajat Patidar, who captained the RCB team in the Indian Premier League, has also been dismissed, while fast bowler Mukesh Kumar has also not been given a central contract this time.

Grade C- Akshar Patel, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh, Shivam Dubey, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Akashdeep, Dhruv Jurel, Harshit Rana, Varun Chakraborty, Nitish Kumar, Reddy, Abhishek Sharma, Sai Sudarshan, Ravi Bishnoi, Rituraj Gaikwad.
