There are some mountains in the world which are not made for humans to conquer. Their existence is for respect and devotion. Kailash Mountain is an example of this. Not because it is high and difficult to climb, but because it is considered sacred. It is also called the abode of Lord Shiva. No one has climbed this mountain till date. Instead of climbing Mount Kailash, it is circumambulated for 52 kilometers, which is called Kora ritual.

Govardhan Mountain located in Vrindavan, which is simple and small in appearance, but contains mythological stories of its grandeur and greatness. When the entire Vrindavan forest was submerged in water due to the anger of Indra, Lord Shri Krishna lifted it on his little finger and protected the people of Braj from the torrential rain for seven days. Even today the pilgrims coming here circumambulate Govardhan Mountain barefoot.
