India Air Force is going to include such fighter jets in its fleet, whose enemies will fly away as soon as they hear the name. Recently, the Indian Air Force has given the contract to make Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) 97 Mark-1 A Light Combat Aircraft (Tejas Fighter Jet) to replace MiG-21. A deal of Rs 62,370 crore has been done with the Center and HAL. This was the second order for HAL for Tejas fighter jet.
India will buy SU-57 fighter jet from Russia
After the retiring of MiG-21, only 29 squadrons are left instead of 42 in the Indian Air Force. India is also planning to buy SU-57 fighter jet from Russia soon. It is being told that India will take 36 fighter jets required for two two squadrons directly from Russia. However, it has not yet been officially confirmed by the government.
According to the IDRW report, the Indian Air Force has proposed a 30-35 percent increase in its strength. As soon as this happens, the number of squadron of the Indian Air Force will reach 54 to 56. A squadron in the Air Force has 18 to 20 fighter aircraft. The Air Force is not only insisting on increasing the number of fighter jets, but technology and capacity are also being further advanced.
Indian Air Force squadron will be increased
Till now, India had set a target of 42 squadron to fight war on two fronts. After Operation Sindoor, India is now focusing on increasing its number of squadron. After beating India, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is engaged in improving its potential with China. The Indian Air Force is also focused on developing Tejas MK2 and fifth generation stealth fighter Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), which will be in India itself.
Russia’s SU-57 is an advanced fighter jet, in which both sensor and signature management are available, while these two are not available together in Rafael. The radar system present in it identifies the enemy as soon as possible and its electro-optical system warns the missile. As soon as the Indian Air Force has 56 squadrons, the total fighter jets will be more than 1000, which has led to sleep for Pakistan and China.
