This controversy dates back to 2010, when his film Ata Pata Lapata flopped commercially, and it is said that his outstanding payment was around Rs 9 crore. Recently in a conversation with Screen, Rajpal Yadav’s manager Goldie told that many well-known names have come forward to help Rajpal Yadav. He told, “Many people have come forward to help Rajpal Yadav. Actors like Sonu Sood, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan have given their support. I was just on a call with David Dhawan, he also helped. Ratan Nain, Varun Dhawan… this time many people are coming forward to help him, which Rajpal has praised a lot.”
He further said that the industry stands behind Rajpal like a rock, and this should be appreciated. He also said that everyone has committed, but ‘such transactions do not happen overnight’.
