The IPL 2026 auction has proved to be unpredictable, with Cameron Green becoming the most expensive foreign player in auction history, while on the other hand, many big-name stars have remained unsold. In-form Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan has also gone unsold, while speculations were being made about Liam Livingstone in the auction, which have been proved wrong. Livingstone also did not find any buyer in the first round of the auction.

The most surprising name in the list of unsold players is that of Liam Livingstone of England, because he is a big international star and many teams needed an all-rounder. Despite this, no team has bid on him. Livingstone had set his base price at Rs 2 crore.
