The IPL 2026 auction has proved to be unpredictable, with Cameron Green becoming the most expensive foreign player in auction history, while on the other hand, many big-name stars have remained unsold. In-form Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan has also gone unsold, while speculations were being made about Liam Livingstone in the auction, which have been proved wrong. Livingstone also did not find any buyer in the first round of the auction.
Unsold list so far in IPL 2026:
- jake fraser mcgurk
- Prithvi Shaw
- devon conway
- Sarfaraz Khan
- Gus Atkinson
- Rachin Ravindra
- liam livingstone
- vian mulder
- Srikar Bharat
- jonny bairstow
- Rahmanullah Gurbaz
- jamie smith
- Deepak Hooda
- matt henry
- Akashdeep
- Shivam Mavi
- Gerald Coetzee
The most surprising name in the list of unsold players is that of Liam Livingstone of England, because he is a big international star and many teams needed an all-rounder. Despite this, no team has bid on him. Livingstone had set his base price at Rs 2 crore.
On the other hand, the names of Sarfaraz Khan and Prithvi Shaw were present in the set first, yet they could not find any buyer. The base price of both the Indian batsmen was Rs 75 lakh. Devon Conway and England’s legendary batsman Jonny Bairstow also did not find any buyer.
