Gary Kirsten, Pakistan Cricket Team: Former coach of the Indian cricket team Gary Kirsten has made a big disclosure. Gary has now told himself why he left the post of coach of Pakistan team in just 6 months. Gary was appointed the head coach of the Pakistan White Ball cricket team last year. But Gary gave the resignation from the post of coach in October after 6 months. Gary has also indicated the reason for leaving the post of coach as well as returning as the coach of the Pakistan team.

The big reason to withdraw from the selection panel

Gary was appointed as the coach of the team for two years. But he resigned from his post due to a dispute with the Pakistan Cricket Board only 6 months after becoming a coach. Gary was removed from the selection committee. After this, Gary left his post before the team was declared for the tour of Australia and Zimbabwe. Gary recalled a few months spent with the team and realized that his impact was not going to be much after being removed from the selection panel.

Gary said, “He was upset for a few months. I soon understood that my influence was going to be very low. Once I was removed from the selection committee and asked to choose a team and I was not able to shape the team, it became difficult to make a positive impact on the group as a coach.”

What did Gary say on returning as coach of Pakistan team

On the question of the Pakistan cricket team coaching again, Gary said that he is ready to coach the team. But they do not want the intervention of external influential people. He believes that the team should be run by people associated with cricket. When this is not happening and when there is a lot of interference outside, which is very impressive, it is very difficult for the leader of the team to follow that path.
