The way the Adani Group arranged for ‘Prasad Seva’ for devotees in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, similarly, in the ongoing Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha, Prasad Seva has also been arranged. On Saturday, the Chairman of Adani Group, Gautam Adani, attended the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath. There he also performed Mahaprasad service.
In this rath yatra lasting 12 days, there is a flood of devotees. Devotees from every corner of the country and abroad have reached Puri to see Lord Jagannath. Gautam Adani also reached Puri today to worship God. Let us know that the Adani Group, along with ISKCON, has started ‘Prasad Seva’ for pilgrims and forward line officials during the Rath Yatra in Puri from 26 June to 8 July.
Gautam Adani also said on this occasion, “We had tried to ‘practice from service’ for the first time in Mahakumbh. Today in this grand journey of Jagannath Puri, we have resolved to further it.” Through his presence and service works in Puri’s Rath Yatra, the message is clear that now the corporate world is also actively becoming a partner in the confluence of faith and service.
Posting on the social media platform X, Gautam Adani wrote, ‘Mahaprabhu was blessed to get the good fortune of seeing the divine rath yatra of Shri Jagannath. Seeing the God of devotees, seeing the God, humility, simplicity and compassion is experienced. This chariot journey is a great form of faith, service and unity, which makes the mind, intellect and soul, the three happy.
On this holy land of Puri, witnessing this amazing experience with millions of devotees will always be included in the precious memories of my life. I heartily thank the state government, the entire administration and thousands of service-surrendered personnel, with the dedication and discipline, this event is being done with such reverence and grandeur. The grace of Mahaprabhu should always remain on India and Indians, including the holy state of Odisha. Jai Jagannath.
This service done by Adani Group is not limited to food only. The Adani Group has distributed Florescent jackets to the sanitation workers, T-shirts to volunteers and raincoats, caps and umbrellas to security forces and devotees. Apart from this, logistics support is also being provided to lifeguards along with Puri Beach Lifeguard Federation, so that the safety of people coming to the sea can be ensured.
