Adani power shares: Today, the shares of Adani Power, a company -led company Gautam Adani, are getting a tremendous boom. Today, during the business, the company’s shares jumped 4.74 percent to Rs 638.70. There is a reason behind this fast. In fact, the company has made a deal with the 570 MW hydroelectric project in the neighboring country Bhutan with the government company Druk Green Power Corp (DGPC).
Investment of Rs 6000 crore for project
In the Wangchhu project, Rs 6000 crore will be invested for the power plant and the infrastructure related to it. Work on the project is expected to start 2026, which is a target to complete within five years. Of course, this hydroelectric project will fulfill the increasing demand for electricity in Bhutan, especially during the winter days. Apart from this, electricity will also be exported to India through this.
Company making itself stronger in power sector
The Adani Group headed by industrialist Gautam Adani is planning to invest about $ 60 billion in the power sector by FY 32, especially in the products and distribution of renewable energy to invest about $ 60 billion to increase the renewal energy capacity from 14.2 gg of financial year 25 to 50. The Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), a part of the Adani Group, works to create and maintain utility-scal grid-connected solar and wind energy project.

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) is also planning to set up a 30,000 km long transmission lines to meet India’s growing energy needs by FY 30, which is 19,200 km by 31 March, 2025. The Adani Group is also planning to increase its capacity from 17.6 GWing to 41.9 GW by investing $ 22 billion through Adani Power till FY 32. Adani Power is the largest private thermal power producing company in the country, whose capacity is inheat in states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu. There is also a 40 MW solar power project in Gujarat.
