Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir has arrived to visit Maa Kamakhya. India vs South Africa second test is to be played in Guwahati, Assam from 22nd November, but before that Gambhir paid obeisance at Kamakhya temple. It is being told that some members of Team India’s support staff had also reached the temple with Gautam Gambhir.
Gautam Gambhir often goes to temples to pray before any big series or match. When the India-South Africa Test series was about to start, Gambhir had gone to the Kalighat temple in Kolkata to visit Maa Kali. The second test will be very important for Team India, because by winning it, it can draw the series with South Africa 1-1.
Both the teams reached Guwahati on Wednesday. The unfortunate news for Team India is that Shubman Gill will not be able to play the second test due to injury. He suffered a neck strain in the first test match played in Kolkata. He was taken to the hospital, from which he was discharged but is still not fully fit.
