Gautam gambhir post on rohit sharma retirement viral see

Shortly after Rohit Sharma’s announcement of retirement from Test cricket on Wednesday, Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir shared an emotional post on his X (East Twitter) handle.

Gambhir wrote on social media, “A master, a leader and a gem! Rohit Sharma”.

Gambhir’s post is also important because there were reports of tension between him and Rohit a few days ago. Speaking at the ABP India at 2047 summit earlier this week, Gambhir rejected any kind of tension between him and Rohit.

Gambhir said, “These are the only people who are running YouTube channels, or who are sitting for the TRP, we have won the Champions Trophy two months ago. Imagine what kind of questions you would have been asking me if we would not have won?”

Rohit retired from the test
Rohit Sharma has created a sensation in the cricket world by retiring from Test cricket at the age of 38 years. Rohit was able to score only 122 runs in his last 2 Test series, this poor form is also being described as a big reason for his retirement. After Virat Kohli left the captaincy, Rohit Sharma took command of the Indian Test team in the year 2022.

If we look at the total record of Rohit’s Test captaincy, he captained 24 Test matches, out of which Team India won 12 times. Rohit’s under 9 times lost India and lost 3 matches. Captain Rohit’s winning percentage in Tests was 50.
