In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a criminal has again been killed in a police encounter. According to the police, both of these criminals were accused of attacking ex-Muslim Salim Vastik. In separate encounters, both these criminals were shot dead by Ghaziabad Police in just 48 hours.
According to the information received from the police regarding the incident, the accused Gulfam and Zeeshan, who are real brothers, had carried out a fatal attack on a Muslim in Loni area of Ghaziabad on February 27. The police had killed the accused Zeeshan in this case on Sunday, March 1, while the second accused Gulfam was killed in a police encounter on Tuesday.
Second accused killed in encounter in Indirapuram
Police said that brothers Zeeshan and Gulfam, accused of attacking YouTuber Salim, were originally residents of Amroha and were carpenters. Both of them had carried out a fatal attack on ex-Muslim Salim in Loni area on 27th. Salim is still hanging between life and death in the hospital. Police also said that Gulfam, the second accused in the attack, was killed in an encounter that took place in Indirapuram police station area on Tuesday.
Why did the accused attack the YouTuber?
The police further said that the investigation so far has revealed that there was no previous case against the two brothers. It has also come to light that both the brothers used to talk about fanaticism on social media. According to the police, Salim, who was injured in the attack by the miscreants, who is also a YouTuber, used to often protest by making videos on the evils of religion on social media, due to which the accused got angry and carried out the attack.
Police seized the mobile phones of the accused
It was told that the accused had tried to slit Salim’s neck with a paper cutter. They also attacked Salim’s stomach. Zeeshan was not married yet, whereas Gulfam was married. Both of them lived in Khoda, Ghaziabad and also worked in a company in Noida. The police is busy investigating other cases from his mobile.
There was a reward of Rs 1 lakh on the accused
In this regard, Ghaziabad Police Commissioner J Ravindra Gaur said, on February 27, there was a fatal attack on a person in the Loni police station area in the morning. In this, the police had identified two accused and also announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh each on the accused. In this case, one accused had already been encountered, while the encounter of the other accused took place today.

He has also told that due to the possibility of the second accused coming to Koda area today, the team of Ghaziabad Crime Branch was on the trail. The accused encountered the police team, who were trying to escape from the police team. The accused riding a bike opened deadly fire on the police team, in which two police personnel were injured. One accused was shot in police retaliation.
