What did the owner of ‘Babu Mughlai’ shop tell?
This shop named ‘Babu Mughlai’ in Ghaziabad has been there since 1995 and non-veg is sold here daily. An employee working in the shop told that this shop has been running here for the last 15-16 years. Before this, we used to sell food for some years.
The shop owner told that when Satyam Pandit had come to threaten, he was not at the shop at that time but his sons called him and told him that a boy had come to the shop and was threatening. He was asking whether permission has been given to open the shop on Tuesday or not? The boys were new at the shop. They got scared. If it were me, I would have asked that permission is given to open, not to close. Get permission to close, we will close.
Who is Satyam Pandit?
On his Facebook profile, Satyam Pandit has described himself as associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He is also the national president of a Hinduist organization called Rashtra Hindu Veer Sena. ‘If the government wants rule of law, then take action’- SP leader
Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan expressed strong displeasure over the video of accused Satyam Pandit. He said, “In the video, we saw that a person named Satyam Pandit is committing hooliganism. He is forcibly closing the shop of a legally opened Muslim community person. Who gave him the license to commit this hooliganism? Did the ruling party give him this permission?”
Accusing BJP, the SP leader said that people from the ruling party make such people commit hooliganism and destroy the spirit of harmony. Such people are dangerous for the society. The government should take strict action against such people. If the government wants that there should be rule of law among the people, then such people should not have the right to commit hooliganism openly.
