Samajwadi Party MLA Sudhakar Singh has passed away. He was ill for a long time, after which he was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow where he breathed his last. Sudhakar Singh was SP MLA from Ghosi seat of UP. The party has given information about his demise on its official social media handle.

SP MLA Sudhakar Singh (60 years) was ill for a long time but two days ago he was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow after complaining of chest pain. Where he died during treatment. As soon as the news of his demise was received, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also reached Medanta Hospital and met his family members.

Ghosi is in the headlines by winning the by-election.

Sudhakar Singh had defeated BJP candidate Dara Singh Chauhan by 50 thousand votes in the Ghosi by-election in the year 2023, after which he came into limelight. He had a good hold on political ground. Sudhakar Singh was considered a leader with deep penetration among the public with his outspokenness and quick wit.

For this reason, when Ghosi seat became vacant, SP President Akhilesh Yadav expressed confidence in him and declared him the SP candidate in Ghosi by-election. Sudhakar Singh lived up to the trust of Akhilesh Yadav and by winning this seat, he destroyed all the equations of BJP.

Sudhakar Singh was a powerful leader of SP

Sudhakar Singh was considered a powerful leader of SP. In the year 1996, he won the election from Nathupur assembly seat. In the year 2012, this seat came to be known as Ghosi. In 2012 also, Sudhakar Singh won from this seat, but in the 2017 assembly elections, he had to face defeat in the Modi wave. In the year 2022, SP had canceled his ticket, after which he openly opposed SP. However, when by-elections were held in 2023, he became MLA by defeating Dara Singh Chauhan.
