According to the information received so far, this threat has been given by the notorious Rohit Godara. The person associated with the gang has sent a message to Raunak’s WhatsApp and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore.
Raunak Khatri was constantly threatened messages and calls on WhatsApp. The threatening person said in clear terms, “Give five crore rupees, otherwise get ready to die.” The message has come from a foreign number.
The crook furious over not picking up the phone
The threatener has also called Raunak Khatri several times on WhatsApp. However, after not getting the answer from Raunak, the person further wrote, “If you are not picking up the phone, be ready to eat the bullet.” In this regard, Raunak has lodged a police complaint.
Threat of serious consequences for not giving 5 crores
It has been said in the complaint that he has been called several times from the unknown number and a message of five crore rupees has been sent by sending a message on WhatsApp. The sender of the threatening said that serious consequences will have to be suffered if the demand is not met.
Police engaged in investigating the connection of Godara gang
The police has started investigating this entire case. At the moment, the police is trying to find out whether this threat has actually been given by Rohit Godara gang or someone else is trying to spread the fear. The cyber wing and crime branch of Delhi Police have been handed over the investigation into the case.
Raunak Khatri made three demands
After receiving the threat, former DUSU president Raunak Khatri has demanded security from the police. Raunak Khatri has demanded from the police to trace the number as soon as possible and find out the accused. Apart from this, he has made three necessary demands.
Raunak Khatri said, “I have three demands-
1. First of all register an FIR.
2. After this I got police security, because my family is most important for me. Police should be stationed near the house.
3. I demand police protection for myself until this case is solved. “
