Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has today got interim bail from Delhi High Court in the check bounce case. The High Court has released him till March 18 to attend his niece’s wedding. In this case of Rs 9 crore, how much amount has been paid by Rajpal Yadav and how much is left, the complainant’s lawyer has given the information. Complainant’s lawyer Avneet Singh Sikka has also told ABP Live today how this case can be closed.
Avneet Singh Sikka said, ‘Today Rs 1.5 crore has been deposited in our client’s account on behalf of Rajpal Yadav. Before this, Rs 75 lakhs have been given and an amount of Rs 25 lakhs is also deposited in the High Court. That means Rs 6.5 crores are still outstanding. The court has asked him to appear on March 18, if Rajpal Yadav pays Rs 6.5 crore before that, then we will also ask this court to end this case.
The case will end after paying Rs 6 crore
This means that if Rajpal Yadav gives Rs 6.5 crore then the case will be over. Rajpal Yadav had surrendered on 5th February. Let us tell you that Rajpal Yadav had surrendered in Tihar Jail of Delhi on 5th February. Before surrendering, Rajpal Yadav said, “Sir, what should I do? I don’t have money, I don’t see any solution. We are all alone here, I have to deal with this problem myself.”
After this, many big actors including Sonu Sood, Ajay Devgan came forward to help Rajpal Yadav. Many celebs have offered him films and some have helped him by giving money.
