Team India’s star all-rounder Akshar Patel is in the news these days not only on the field but also for his personal life. The house warming ceremony of his new and grand house ‘Hakkash Villa’ in Nadiad, Gujarat was completed with full rituals. Akshar and his wife Meha Patel have named this villa after their son ‘Hakkash’, who was born on 19 December 2024.
Vaastu puja and family celebration
On the occasion of housewarming, Akshar and Meha performed traditional Vaastu puja. Meha Patel had shared many pictures on her social media, in which the beautiful interior of the house and the puja moments were visible. Akshar was seen in traditional kurta-pajama, while Meha graced the puja wearing a saree.
This villa located in Nadiad is a wonderful blend of modern architecture and cultural touch. Large windows, open courtyard, and minimalist interior make it very attractive.
Special guests arrived from the cricket world
Many big names from the cricket world attended the housewarming ceremony. Delhi Capitals head coach Hemang Badani and Director of Cricket Venugopal Rao were also present on this special occasion. Akshar Patel has recently been made the new captain of Delhi Capitals for IPL 2025. The team was just one step away from the playoffs last season.
The shine of the alphabet remains intact even on the field
Akshar Patel had recently performed brilliantly in India’s T20I tour played in Australia. He took 2 wickets in two matches and scored a total of 45 runs in three innings. In the fourth T20, he played a quick inning of 21 unbeaten runs (11 balls) and also became the player of the match by taking 2 wickets. India won this series 2-1.
Childhood cricket memories, ‘This was my real home ground’
Akshar recalled his childhood cricket days on a YouTube channel. He told that the compound of his old house was his first ground. He said. “If the ball went outside the compound, it was out. One pitch was caught out. There were no boundaries. All shots had to be played on the ground. Maybe that’s why my straight drive is the strongest today.”
