Gold Price Today: Gold lost its shine on Republic Day, know the latest price of your cities on 26th January.

Gold Price In India: Gold prices, which have been continuously making records amid geopolitical tensions, have seen a slight softening on Monday. Today in the national capital Delhi, 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,60,040 per 10 grams, while the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,47,040 per 10 grams. Whereas 18 carat gold is being sold at the rate of Rs 1,20,330 per 10 grams. Generally 24 carat gold is considered the purest and is used for investment, while 22 and 18 carat gold are more used in jewelery making.

Silver prices have also declined today. In Delhi, silver has reached the level of Rs 3,34,900 per kg, which is considered a little weaker than the previous sessions.

Latest prices of different cities

City wise, in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, 24 carat gold is trading around Rs 1,60,250 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold at Rs 1,46,890 per 10 grams and 18 carat gold is trading around Rs 1,20,180 per 10 grams. Whereas in Chennai, the price of 24 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,59,480 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,47,490 and 18 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,22,990 per 10 grams. Similar prices were seen in Lucknow as in Delhi, where 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,60,040, 22 carat gold at Rs 1,47,040 and 18 carat gold at Rs 1,20,330 per 10 grams.

Market experts believe that depending on global signals and the movement of the dollar, the prices of gold and silver may remain volatile in the coming days.
