In Hindu religion, gold is related to Goddess Lakshmi. The reason for this is that Mother Lakshmi is said to be the goddess who bestows wealth, prosperity and happiness. Therefore, gold should always be kept clean, safe and in the right direction.
In Vaastu Shastra, proper direction has been given for the maintenance of each item. If gold or gold jewelery is kept in the right direction then Goddess Lakshmi has a stable abode and wealth increases.
Many people knowingly or unknowingly keep gold in the wrong direction or at wrong places, which attracts negative energy and causes financial loss. Let us know as per Vastu what is the right direction to keep gold.
According to Vastu Shastra, north-west direction is considered best for keeping gold or gold jewelery etc. Mother Lakshmi and Kuber Dev have vision in this direction. People who keep valuable things in this direction remain strong on the financial front.
According to Vastu Shastra, gold and silver should never be kept in the south direction nor in the south-east direction. Keeping gold and silver in this direction reduces the accumulated wealth. Along with this, gold should not be kept in places like iron boxes, black colored bags, kitchen etc. Keeping gold at these places is not considered auspicious.
We wear gold jewelery only during festivals or special events and after that it remains kept in the cupboard. Even if some jewelery gets broken, we leave it in the cupboard. But doing so is not considered auspicious.
According to Vastu Shastra, do not leave jewelery lying idle in the safe for years. Every now and then, on auspicious occasions, take them out from the safe and keep them in front of God and thank him for happiness and prosperity.
