Golden opportunity for government job in IB, salary up to Rs 1.42 lakh; These can apply


This agency working under the Ministry of Home Affairs has released the official notification of recruitment for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II and Technical posts. If you dream of playing your role in the security of the country and are from engineering or technical background, then this recruitment can prove to be a great opportunity for you.

Under this recruitment of IB, a total of 258 posts will be appointed. The application process will start from 25 October 2025 and candidates will be able to apply through online till 16 November 2025. To apply, candidates will have to go to the official website of Intelligence Bureau and fill their form.

Who can apply?

To apply for these posts, candidates must have BE or B.Tech degree. This degree should be in subjects like Electronics, Telecommunication or Computer Engineering. Besides, postgraduate and other fixed eligibility criteria have also been sought for some posts.

age limit

The minimum age of candidates for application has been kept at 18 years and maximum age at 27 years. However, reserved category candidates will also be given age relaxation. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will be provided 5 years relaxation, while Other Backward Classes (OBC) will be provided 3 years relaxation.

How much salary will you get?

Candidates selected on these posts will be given very good salary. After selection, they will get a salary of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 every month. Apart from this, they will also get other benefits of government job like DA, HRA, transport allowance and medical facilities.

This is how the selection will happen

The selection process will be completed in three phases. In the first phase, candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE score, which will be of total 750 marks. After this, skill test will be taken, which will be of 250 marks. Finally the candidates will be called for interview, which will be of 175 marks. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in all these stages.

application fee

The application fee has also been decided according to the category. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 200, while reserved category (SC/ST) candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. Payment can be made only through online mode.
