Working in the National Investigation Agency, the country’s premier investigation agency, is considered both an honor and a responsibility. NIA has started the recruitment process, under which appointments will be made on a total of 88 posts. In this recruitment, priority will be given to experienced and qualified candidates and selection will be done on the basis of deputation. National Investigation Agency has released the official notification of this recruitment.
A total of 88 posts will be filled under this recruitment. Of these, 38 posts have been earmarked for Inspector, 27 posts for Sub Inspector, 11 posts for Assistant Sub Inspector and 12 posts for Head Constable. The application process for this recruitment has started from 7 today and the last date for submission of applications has been fixed as 21 February 2026. This recruitment will be completely on deputation basis, that is, only those candidates who are already working in any government security force or police department can apply.
Ability
For the post of Inspector, the candidate must be working on a similar post in the State Police or Union Territory Police. Apart from this, there should be at least 5 years of experience at Level 06. The candidate should have a graduation degree with at least 2 years of experience in criminal investigation, intelligence, IT or anti-terrorism work. For the post of Sub Inspector, the candidate must have at least 6 years of service at Level 05 in the Central or State Police Force. Also, the candidate must have graduation and 2 years of experience in the investigation or intelligence field. For the post of Assistant Sub Inspector, the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the post of Head Constable in Level 04. Also, one should have graduation degree and experience related to investigation. For the post of Head Constable, it is necessary for the candidate to be working in the Central or State Police and it is mandatory for the candidate to have minimum 12th pass.
age limit
The maximum age limit for this recruitment has been fixed at 56 years. Age will be calculated as per government rules.
How much salary will you get?
Candidates selected on the post of Inspector will be given a salary of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400. For the post of Sub Inspector, the salary has been fixed from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. Candidates selected on the post of Assistant Sub Inspector will get a salary of Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300. For the post of Head Constable, the salary will be from Rs 25,500. It has been fixed up to Rs 81,700. Apart from this, other allowances and facilities will also be given as per government rules.
What will the selection process be like?
Candidates will be selected in this recruitment through deputation process. In this, the service record, experience, qualification and departmental recommendation of the candidate will be taken into consideration. The final selection process will be completed after shortlisting the eligible candidates.

After this, the biodata form given in it will have to be downloaded and filled correctly.
