Good news has come for lakhs of women of Uttar Pradesh. The state government has released the official notification for recruitment to various posts in Anganwadi. This recruitment is being done under the Child Development Services and Nutrition Department. This is a golden opportunity for women candidates who dream of serving children and mothers by living in their own village or town.
Who can apply
Only women candidates have been given a chance for recruitment. To apply, the candidate must have at least 12th pass (intermediate) degree from a recognized school or institute in India. The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 35 years. Age will be calculated as on September 17, 2025.
How much salary will you get?
Selected Anganwadi workers will be given Rs 4,500 as honorarium every month. Even though this amount may not seem very high, it is considered an important step towards economic self-reliance for women living in rural areas.
Keep these things in mind before applying
The application can be made only by women of the same Gram Panchayat or Ward for which the advertisement has been issued. Two women from one family will not be appointed at the same Anganwadi centre. Before applying, candidates must keep ready the scanned copies of all the necessary documents.

- After this the candidates click on “Latest Link Section” present on the homepage.
- Click on the ‘Anganwadi Worker Registration’ link that appears there.
- Now enter your full name, father’s name, district and mobile number in the form that opens.
- After this fill the information related to your educational qualification.
- After filling all the details, submit the form and take a printout of it.
