Indian Air Force has started the recruitment process for Agniveer Air INTAKE 01/2027. Unmarried boys and girls can apply under this recruitment. Indian Air Force has started the online registration process for Agniveer Air Recruitment. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of Air Force iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in. The last date to apply has been fixed as 1 February 2026. After this no application will be accepted. Air Force has also announced the date of written examination, so candidates can start their preparation from now.
Through this recruitment, appointments will be made to the posts of Agniveer Vayu. The number of posts has not been released yet, but every year a large number of youth take part in this recruitment process. The selection process will include written examination, physical standard test, physical efficiency test, document verification and medical test.
Age limit and physical standards
For Agniveer Air Recruitment, the date of birth of the candidate should be between 1 January 2006 to 1 July 2009. Both dates will also be valid. After passing all the stages the maximum age of the candidate can be up to 21 years.
Talking about height, the minimum height for male and female candidates has been fixed at 152 centimeters. At the same time, the minimum height of 147 centimeters will also be acceptable for women from the hilly areas of Uttarakhand and North East.
physical fitness test
In the physical fitness test, candidates will have to run for 1.6 kilometers. Male candidates will have to complete this race in 7 minutes and female candidates will have to complete this race in 8 minutes. Apart from this, push-ups, sit-ups and squats will also have to be done. All these tests are to check the physical ability of the candidate.
Educational qualification
For Agniveer Vayu Recruitment, candidates must have Intermediate or 10+2 pass. Candidates studying in Science stream must have Maths, Physics and English subjects and at least 50 percent marks in all are required. 50 percent marks in English is also mandatory.
Apart from this, candidates who have done three years engineering diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, Computer Science, IT or Instrumentation Technology can also apply. Candidates who have done a two-year vocational course and have Physics and Maths subjects will also be considered eligible for this recruitment. Apart from Science, 12th pass candidates from other streams can also apply with 50 percent marks.

While applying online, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550. Without fee the application will not be considered complete. The written examination will be conducted on 30 March 2026 and 31 March 2026. Candidates have enough time to prepare for the exam.
