Victory in the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election of Telangana is considered very important for Congress and Revanth Reddy. NSUI had lost in the recently held ABVP elections on this seat and ABVP had won. For this reason, Jubilee Hills by-election is being considered very important politically.
This time the main contest in the by-election is between Congress, BRS and BJP. Naveen Yadav is in the fray from Congress, Mangti Sunita Gopinath from BRS and Deepak Reddy from BJP. Mangti Sunita has been made the candidate by BRS because she is the wife of Mangti Gopinath, who had won the same seat in the 2023 assembly elections, but had passed away.

In four different surveys (Enumeration, State Polls, Chanakya Strategy, People’s Pulse) it is clearly seen that Congress is leading here.

It is clear from these figures that in all four surveys, Congress is at first place and BRS is at second place. BJP’s vote percentage is very low.
Why is it important for Revanth Reddy to win this seat?
For Revanth Reddy, winning this seat is a question of honor and credibility. This time no candidate was fielded from AIMIM or Asaduddin Owaisi, due to which the support of Muslim voters went directly towards Congress. This has strengthened the position of Congress and there is a possibility that they may take this seat into their account.
Will Congress candidate Naveen Yadav win?
Naveen Yadav has contested elections from this seat twice. First as AIMIM and then as an independent candidate, he had secured a good vote share. Now Congress has given him full responsibility and fielded him in the election. All four surveys indicate that Naveen Yadav is on the way to victory.
