The Civil Aviation Ministry says that IndiGo has planned a relief operation through 10 special flights from Jeddah to India on March 3, 2026, to ease the return of stranded passengers. This will depend on the required clearance and existing airspace conditions. IndiGo is collaborating with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah for passengers. Airlines operating between India and the Gulf region are also carrying out limited operations depending on operational and airspace conditions.
Air India Express Airlines will also start flights from Muscat
Apart from this, Air India Express has announced that it will start its flight service to Muscat from March 3. Apart from this, the government has also issued helpline numbers for passengers.
According to Air India Express, flights will be started from Muscat to Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai and Tiruchirappalli. According to the airlines spokesperson, the first flight from Muscat will depart for Tiruchirappalli at 10.25 am. Airlines have appealed to the passengers that they can check the information related to their flights on the official website of the airlines.
Flights from many Gulf countries will remain canceled for the time being
At present, it has been told by the airlines that flights to many Gulf countries are still cancelled. These flights to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE will remain canceled till March 3, 2026. The airlines have also expressed regret for the inconvenience.
