The beginning of the year 2026 has brought a big good news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Haryana. Haryana Public Service Commission i.e. HPSC has released the notification of Haryana Civil Services (HCS) Examination 2026. Through this recruitment, officers will be appointed in the administrative, police and revenue departments of the state. This is considered a golden opportunity for the candidates who have been waiting for this recruitment for a long time.

A total of 102 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. The Commission has shared complete information from application to examination, so that candidates can complete the preparation and application process in time.

Recruitment will be done on 102 posts

According to the information released by HPSC, a total of 102 posts have been fixed under Haryana Civil Services Recruitment 2026. These include important posts of different departments. The maximum number of posts have been kept for Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO), whose number is 27. After this, 24 posts of Haryana Civil Service (HCS) are included.

Apart from this, 22 posts of Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer (AETO) and 8 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) have been fixed. 7 posts of Treasury Manager, 5 posts of A Class Naib Tehsildar (Apprentice) and 3 posts of A Class Tehsildar are also included in this recruitment. There are 3 posts of Assistant Registrar Co-operative Society (ARCS), 2 posts of Deputy Food and Supplies Controller (DFSC) and 1 post of Deputy Food Safety Officer (DFSO).

Who can apply?

To apply for this recruitment, it is necessary for the candidate to be a graduate from a recognized university. There is no specific restriction on the subject, that is, youth studying from any stream can take part in this examination.

Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age is 42 years. This age will be considered on the basis of January 1, 2026. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules, which will give them relief in application.

When and how to apply?

HPSC has also clarified the application dates. Candidates can apply online from 6 February 2026 to 26 February 2026. Applications will be accepted only through the official website of the Commission, hpsc.gov.in.

The application fee has also been fixed for different categories. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. Whereas for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Women and Disabled candidates the fee has been kept at Rs 250. Fees can be paid through online mode.
