Railway Discount On Ticket Booking: This news has brought relief for those traveling by train before the start of the new year. Be it passengers traveling daily or people traveling on short routes, everyone wants to save on ticket expenses. Under this thinking, Railways has taken a new step to promote digital ticket booking. From January 14, passengers are going to get direct discount on ticket booking.
This discount is not in the form of cashback but will be a direct discount on the ticket price. This facility is not limited to everywhere but to a particular app. In such a situation, it is important for the passengers to know where this discount will be available and for how long will it be applicable? 3 percent discount will be available on RailOne app
Railways has decided that from January 14 to July 14, 2026, a discount of 3 percent will be given on booking unreserved tickets through the RailOne app. This discount will be available when the passenger uses any digital payment mode. Till now, only 3 percent cashback was available on payment through R-Wallet on RailOne app.

But in the new system, now you will get direct discount even on payment through UPI, debit card or other digital options. The aim of Railways is to bring more and more people towards digital booking. Officials have made it clear that this facility will be limited to RailOne app only and will not be applicable on any platform.
How to book unreserved ticket from RailOne app?
It is very easy to book tickets through RailOne app. First of all download RailOne app in your mobile and login with IRCTC or UTS ID. After login, select the option of unreserved ticket or UTS on the home screen. After this select the starting station and destination station.

Now select the ticket type and category and fill the details of the passengers. After checking all the details, tap on Book Ticket. Use R-Wallet or any digital payment option for payment. Once the booking is complete, a digital ticket with QR code will be generated. On which you passengers will be able to travel.
